The Manville Fire Department was dispatched to the Millstone
Grill, 337 North Main St.
for a report of a fire near the back of the premises. Upon arrival the Incident
Commander, Assistant Chief Bentz, reported a smoke condition in the rear of the
structure. Engine 42-101 and 42-103 were positioned at the rear of the building
on North 1st Ave.
and Engine 42-102 was stationed on North Main St. the Operations Chief, Chief
Pruiksma, directed the crews from all three Engines to a storage
room where some of the contents were on fire. The crews from all three engines
went to work extinguishing the fire in the storage room and to ventilate the
structure. The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
